Our story began in 1975 when Roger and M. A. "Chic" LeBlanc opened Chic LeBlanc's Appliances in a small former bookstore behind McNeese State University. The store began as a Whirlpool dealership and quickly expanded as our product selection grew. By 1980, we relocated to a larger building to keep up with customer demand, and only a few years later, we expanded again to increase our capacity.

In 1992, we merged with Carl's Audio & Video to form C & C Audio, Video & Appliance. This important milestone allowed us to combine our strengths, expand our offerings, and continue delivering a high level of customer service that has always defined our company.

As the business grew, we moved into an 11,000 square foot showroom in 2001. A 5,000 square foot warehouse addition followed in 2002, along with further expansions that allowed us to better serve our customers. Today, our Lake Charles location is supported by a dedicated team of more than 25 employees, including knowledgeable sales professionals, skilled factory-trained technicians, and an experienced support staff. Many of our team members have been with us for more than a decade.
